There is a remarkable place where refreshment, restoration, and healing takes place to all who seek to discover it. It is a place that stands alone yet is never out of reach. It is a place of endured pain; yet comfort and rest prevail. It is a place of hope that beckons submission while fears come to die as it whispers for sorrows yet stands for righteous strength and victory. It is a holy place for all of God’s children; a place marked by death where sacrificial blood forever birthed eternal life. It is a place that pours out forgiveness to all who are willing to bathe in repentance and humility. A place of God’s grace, unmerited love, and never-ending mercy. For when our tears meet the blood of Christ at the foot of the cross; there is internal, external, and eternal healing from heaven above. There is supernatural cleansing powers in the blood of Jesus and He waits every so patiently with open arms upon the cross at the forever redeeming place of grace for all his beloved children.

Today I am thankful for the cross and the gift of Jesus Christ!
