Her house is an oyster, and her kitchen, the pearl. She sings with joy in the heart of her home as she pours herself out making one-of-a-kind creations that delight all who get to experience homemade perfection at its best. As she mixes and measures, she thinks of the celebrations that are to come. She loves and unselfishly serves anyone who calls on her. For when she bakes for others she is not only satisfying appetites but is truly nourishing hungry souls.

There is always a sweet aroma of HOME when she bakes.

The cake stand is waiting in anticipation for her masterpiece to be displayed upon it. Her eyes begin to dance in glory as she places one layer of cake on top of another. Though each layer has cracks and many imperfections, she smiles with assurance already comforted in knowing that her cake will come to perfect completion.

A tried and true recipe, it stands the test of time and is written by memory on her heart. Time spent in the kitchen becomes effortless and brings unexplainable peace while even more goodness is still to come.

The white icing is remarkable; perfect, undeniably sweet, and pure as snow. It abundantly fills and covers every hole, seals every crack, and smoothes away each imperfection. Molding and binding the three layers of cake into one, it is the icing that brings this decadent dessert to life and makes it so rich and fulfilling.
